Birthday Fun!

I finally got some time to play around with some ideas in the studio yesterday. First off, I love the idea of capturing items in the air and I’ve seen a bunch of people doing it lately and wanted to give it a go. I’ve researched some behind the scenes techniques from various places including Tik Tok and found some people using the Quad Hands. They’re usually used for working on computer parts, but it came in very handy to hold items suspended in air to create the illusion of falling. Next, I wanted to create the behind the scenes and post-production video for you.

Now for the messy part. If there isn’t a huge mess after a photo shoot- was it even worth it??? Just kidding. I used the marshmallows to drop in at first, but they didn’t give me the big splash I was looking for. So, I dipped into my cocktail ice to get some more heft and that did it. Voila!
